Final wave of artists announced for SpeedFest Country at Brands Hatch

14 April 2023

American SpeedFest will be bigger and better than ever before for its 10th anniversary edition this summer, and we're now able to confirm the full music line-up for the new SpeedFest Country music festival, which will run across both days of the event at Brands Hatch on 17/18 June.

SpeedFest Country is a completely new element to the Kent circuit's annual US-flavoured extravaganza, adding Americana-infused sound to the venue's off-track areas throughout the two days. With some of the UK's finest country music artists performing alongside NASCAR-headlined racing and massive American car displays, this is set to be a weekend to remember.

Six new artists have been added to the SpeedFest Country line-up as part of the second wave of acts, following the initial announcement of performers including renowned Saturday night headliner Kezia Gill, singer-songwriter Laura Oakes, Gasoline & Matches, Two Ways Home and Rev Ferriday.

Second wave artists:

First Time Flyers - Sunday Headliner

This quartet with an ear for feelgood melodies will bring the inaugural SpeedFest Country to a close on the Sunday afternoon. Four-part harmonies, shared lead vocals and impressive multi-instrumentalist skills from First Time Flyers will send crowds off with a smile.

Bailey Tomkinson - Saturday

Described by some as Britain's answer to Taylor Swift, Bailey Tomkinson will join the Saturday evening SpeedFest country bill. The high profile performer has been championed widely in the national press and by legendary DJ Bob Harris, whilst her most recent single Astronaut beat Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift in the video charts.

Backwoods Creek - Sunday

Hailing from their very own UK heartland, Backwoods Creek will bring something unique to the line-up with old-school southern rock, blended with stadium-sized story telling. This is a musical group which wants to entertain you and take you on an emotional journey along the way.

Emilia Quinn - Sunday

Emilia Quinn is a firecracker of an artist who will bring her own twist on Americana and Roots music to the SpeedFest Country stage. With powerful, husky vocals, and songs from anthems to ballads that all tell a story, she'll add her own distinct flavour to the line-up.

Troy Redfern - Sunday

Troy Redfern will add his early blues influenced guitar stylings to the SpeedFest Country line-up. Inspired by blues pioneers, but carrying the energy of '70s and '80s rock icons, he'll bring a fierce guitar sound to the event.

Outlaw Orchestra - Sunday

This three-piece rock and roll group from Southampton play with a unique style, previously described as  'heavy grass' with technical guitar work, and thumping rhythms. The music features clear influences from the Deep South, blended with a distinct British irreverence and sense of humour.

SpeedFest Country is the latest expansion of the popular American SpeedFest extravaganza, which will feature bill-topping race action from the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series (NWES), the only officially sanctioned stock car series of its kind on this side of the Atlantic. Four NWES races will be complemented by a themed line-up of support races and special demonstrations and parades throughout the two days.

Other highlights off the track will include SpeedFest's biggest ever American car displays, live action stunt shows in the SpeedFest Arena and the returning Victory Lane NASCAR podium presentations which bring the post-race celebrations closer to the fans.

Weekend tickets are available in advance for £45 (with weekend camping an additional £29). Adult admission £25 on Saturday and £30 on Sunday. Reductions are available for 13-15-year-olds and under-13s go free. All tickets include admission to the full American SpeedFest 10 race event in addition to the SpeedFest Country music stage.
