BTCC race winnners Josh Cook and Aiden Moffat will remain in the Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship for 2023, following confirmation that the pair will line up for One Motorsport - formerly BTC Racing - this season.
Reigning Independent's Champion Cook and Scotsman Moffat will race Honda Civic Type Rs for the rebranded team in the upcoming campaign, which kicks off at Donington Park on 22/23 April.
Cook is aiming for another strong season after winning five races in 2022. His teammate joins the team for a first season in Honda machinery after switching from his rear-wheel-drive Infiniti.
Team Principal Danny Buxton said: "We're thrilled to announce the rebranding and delighted to rejuvenate our BTCC line-up and welcome Aiden in, whilst re-signing Josh was an incredibly important step. Aiden is a class act and I feel he has yet to reach his potential. I'm confident with the support network we'll provide, he'll be a front-runner from day one. Josh is raring to go and we're pushing extremely hard to ensure he has all the winning tools. Together with the exciting Starline LKQ Euro Car Parts partnership, we're ideally positioned for all challenges in BTCC racing."
After the opening round of the season in the East Midlands, the
calendar features a further five visits to MSV venues with Brands
Hatch (6/7 May) and Snetterton (20/21 May) also hosting spring
fixtures. Oulton Park hosts the BTCC on 17/18 June ahead of the
series' return to the Donington Park GP circuit on 26/27 August.
The Brands Hatch GP circuit hosts the season finale on 7/8
October.
