An impressive selection of single-seaters, sports cars and tin-tops from the ‘60s, ‘70s and ‘80s will take to the famous Grand Prix circuit, courtesy of the Historic Sports Car Club (HSCC).
Star classes to watch out for on the full Grand Prix circuit include the Historic Grand Prix Car Association with a capacity grid of 32 classic single-seaters which returns to the Kent venue with a for the first time since 2021.
A stunning selection of cars from Formula 1’s earlier years has been attracted for the occasion, including two examples of the stunning Maserati 250F which won so many Grands Prix in the hands of Juan Manuel Fangio and Stirling Moss during the mid 1950s. These front-engined icons will be raced by Elliott Hann and Simon Hope at Brands Hatch.
Other cars from the front-engined era include a selection of early ‘50s Coopers and a stunning Ferrari 246 Dino which will be raced by Tony Smith. There will also be an Indy 500 runner from the era in action in the shape of Geraint Owen’s Kurtis Kraft 500C.
