Another packed season of motorsport at Brands Hatch fires into life with the MGJ Engineering Winter Stages Rally on Saturday 18 January. Action from the fourth round of the Protyre Circuit Rally Championship will rev the Kent circuit’s year into life, with a range of cars bringing the heat during a winter weekend.

Areas of the circuit not normally utilised for competition will be integrated into a diverse series of stages, with the inner paddock and pit lane joining the circuit itself as part of the route. With challenging obstacles and use of track sections in reverse, the eight-stage route offers a very different challenge!

A strong entry list is lined up, with a wide range of rally machinery, including modern Citroen C3, Ford Fiesta and VW Polo cars designed to compete internationally. Nostalgic favourites will star too, including Ford Escorts, Subaru Imprezas, Mitsubushi Evos and even a Porsche 911 3.0 RS.

In addition to acting as a popular standalone event, this fixture also marks the latest round of the Protyre Circuit Rally Championship, with the VW Polo GTI R5 of John Stone and Alex Stone leading the standings.
