2018 GT4 champion Jack Mitchell will return to the British GT Championship with Mahiki Racing as they campaign an expanded programme with Lotus.
The 26-year-old driver will join Steven Lake in the first of Mahiki’s two Pro-Am entries, piloting a Lotus Emira GT4, with a third Lotus also confirmed to be competing in the Silver class.
Jack Mitchell has tasted victory in both GT3 and GT4 machinery and will be hoping to become the first driver to win two GT4 titles. Steven Lake, meanwhile, will embark on his second season in British GT with Mahiki and Lotus.
Mitchell said: “I’m really excited to be teaming up with Mahiki Racing and Steven Lake for the upcoming British GT season. The team had a successful first year in the GT4 category, the rate of progress across the season was very impressive and I look forward to building on that for 2025. Both mine and Steve’s goals aligned perfectly which has given me full confidence for the season ahead.”
Lake said: “This season marks an exciting chapter as we partner with Lotus officially. The entire team has put in an incredible effort to refine every aspect of our approach; our focus is on consistency, precision, and amplifying our performance to be in contention for podium finishes at every race.”
