2024 GT4 champion Jack Brown will return to defend his title with Optimum Motorsport and McLaren in this year’s British GT Championship, teaming up with last year’s championship rival Marc Warren.
Brown will head into his third campaign behind the wheel of Optimum’s McLaren Artura GT4, but next season marks a shift for Brown as he will lead a Pro-Am crew for the first time in his career.
Marc Warren joins the Optimum team as Brown’s teammate, having challenged for the class title in his debut season last year, ultimately finishing fourth in points and second overall in the Pro-Am category.
Warren and Brown are the second of Optimum’s GT4 entries to be announced, with Harry George and Luca Hopkinson having been earlier revealed in January.
Brown said: “I’m excited to be returning for a fifth season in British GT, this time teaming up with Marc Warren and continuing with Optimum Motorsport. After last season’s success, we’re motivated to build on that momentum and are fully focused on aiming for the top spot. We’re looking forward to a competitive and rewarding season ahead.”
Warren said: “I am thrilled to join Optimum Motorsport and Jack Brown for my second year in British GT. Last year we relied on consistency to stay in the fight for the titles until the last round but this year is going to be different.”
