Brands Hatch’s Super Touring Power returns for a third edition on 28/29 June 2025. The event has been a smash hit for the circuit over the past two years, transporting fans back to the fondly remembered ‘90s period of the British Touring Car Championship, and next year’s celebration will continue the Super Touring legacy with a full weekend’s action devoted to tin top history.
On-track action will take place on both the Grand Prix and Indy circuits for a third year in succession, with competitive action curated by the Classic Touring Car Racing Club (CTCRC). Saturday’s racing will take place entirely on the longer GP circuit before racing shifts to the venue’s more compact configuration for the Sunday.
Both days will feature headline entertainment from ‘90s Super Tourers, with the full event format and race programme to be confirmed in due course. The Super Touring cars will act as a key focal point for the meeting, with star race cars joined by a selection of other eye-catching machinery from the era for displays and demonstrations.
As with the previous two editions, Super Touring Power 3 will also act as a wider celebration of the hugely popular touring car discipline’s past. This will include races for machinery from the ‘60s right through to the ‘00s across a range of grids put together by the CTCRC.
The last two years have featured a varied off-track show to further transport guests back to a hugely loved era. This has included special guest appearances from former stars of the BTCC, period car displays with roadgoing versions of iconic touring cars, and opportunities to revisit the popular TOCA PlayStation games of the ‘90s.
Full details of Super Touring Power 3 will be shared in the coming months with tickets due to go on sale later this year.
Classic Touring Car Racing Club Chairman, Stuart Caie, said: “After the hugely positive response to the first two editions of Super Touring Power, we just had to get the band together. A huge amount of work goes into putting this event together, but when you see the comments from fans and feedback from competitors, it just makes you want to do it all over again. And that’s why the Super Touring Power era is continuing into next year. This event has rapidly established itself as a fixture our competitors look forward to and it’s hugely satisfying to put together. We’re excited to work with David [Willey] and the team at MSV once again, and we’re already counting down the days for what I’m sure will be another memorable weekend for CTCRC competitors across all our grids.”
MSV Group Motorsport Event Manager, David Willey, said: “Super Touring Power is very much a passion project and one which I personally revel in being a part of. And that’s why I couldn’t be more excited to work with Stuart [Caie] and the entire CTCRC team once again. This event has really captured the imagination during its first two editions as retro tin tops, and Super Tourers in particular, hold an important place in the hearts and minds of British motorsport fans. And it’s a team of fans behind the scenes, putting this event together from the ground up. We can’t wait to do it all again.”
Ticket information for Super Touring Power 3 will be shared later this year, with other details announced in due course.
