The iconic BRSCC Formula Ford Festival returns to Brands Hatch for a 53rd edition this weekend (19/20 October). Advance discounted tickets are available for £15 each day, with further reductions for 13-15-year-olds and FREE entry for under-13s. Click here to book tickets.

This year’s Festival takes on a special theme in honour and celebration of one of its previous champions – Gerrit Van Kouwen, 40 years on from the Dutchman’s victory in 1984 and following his passing earlier this year. The former Formula 3 and BTCC racer was an enthusiastic supporter of Formula Ford and the Festival, attending most years until his death.

The traditional knockout race format will again feature, with Kent-engined Formula Fords from across history set to do battle around the Indy Circuit for this iconic prize. Other previous winners have included Jenson Button, Mark Webber and Johnny Herbert.

A full support programme includes the Mazda MX-5 Championship, Mazda MX-5 Clubman Championship, Mazda MX-5 SuperCup, CityCar Cup, BMW 1 Series SuperCup, Evolution Trophy, Mazda MX-5 MK4 Trophy, Renault Cup and Classic VW Cup.

Discounted tickets are available for £15 each day with reductions for 13-15-year-olds and free entry for under-13s. After 4pm on Friday, tickets will only be available at full price on the gate. For more information, click here.
