Equipe Classic Racing will open the four-wheeled season at Brands Hatch for their season opener event, the Pre-’66 Classic Sports and GT Cars race weekend on 1/2 April. A range of retro classes from both clubs will compete on the Indy circuit throughout the weekend with the highlights from Equipe Classic Racing being the headline Pre-’66 and Classic Sports and GT cars. Cars will have to meet Historic Appendix K regulations meaning they have to be run to in period regulations with classic racers such as MG Bs, Austin Healeys and Lotus Elites all in action. There will also be races for the Equipe ‘70s, Equipe Pre-’63, Equipe ‘50s and Equipe Libre classes.

Also racing are series from the MG Car Club including the MG BCV8 Championship for retro machines with big engines, plus the MGCC Midgets, MGCC MG Cup, MGCC Trophy and MGCC Triple-M Racing.

Tickets for the Pre-’66 Classic Sports and GT Cars race weekend at Brands Hatch are available from £15 with discounts for 13-15-year-olds and free entry for under-13s.
