Brands Hatch blasts back to the past at the Legends of Brands Hatch Superprix this summer, with three days of action devoted to machinery from the sport’s history. This will include sports cars, single-seaters and tin tops from the ‘60s, ‘70s and ‘80s with multiple golden eras celebrated.
Special highlights from the Historic Sports Car Club will include the Thundersports series for rumbling sports-prototype racing cars and the Aurora Trophy for powerful 1970s single-seaters. Other popular classes set to appear include Historic and Classic Formula 3, Historic Formula 2 and Historic Formula Ford.
The meeting will also feature Historic Formula Ford 2000, ‘70s Road Sports, ‘80s Production Cars, the Griffiths Haig Trophy for 1950s drum brake machines, Historic Road Sports and Historic Formula Junior. There will also be guest appearances from the 500 Owners Association and Classic and Modern Motorsport Club.

Paddock Hill grandstand provides an ideal location to watch the start line action, as the field jostle for position heading into the first corner. The sweeping curves of Paddock Hill and Druids Hairpin are key places for breath-taking manoeuvres and dramatic incidents!

Contested by Pre ’66 GT cars and Pre ’69 sports-racing cars with an international sporting pedigree from period.
For 1950s drum brake, sports and sports-racing cars and eligible drum brake GT cars.
Open to genuine Formula 3 racing cars originally built and raced between 1971 and 1984.
The 500 Owners Association Championships are for competitors competing in 500cc single seat racing cars which were built between 1st January 1946 and 31st December 1960.
Open to single seater racing cars built to the appropriate Formula 2, Formula B and Formula Atlantic regulations between 1st January 1967 and 31st December 1978.
For Formula 5000 and Formula 2 single-seaters built and raced between 1967 and 1979.
For up to 1100cc single-seater racing cars, raced between 1958 to 1963.
Open to Sports Racing, GT and Touring Cars that competed in the World Endurance Championship, FIA GT Championship, FIA 2 Litre Sports Car Championship or other International Competition up to 31st December 1979.
For Historic Formula Ford 2000 single seater cars built and raced before 1980.
The 70s Road Sports Championship is a race series for road-legal production sports cars produced and registered in the 1970s.
A race series for production touring, sports and GT cars from the 1980s.
These evocative ‘screamers’ competed across the race tracks of Europe between 1964 and 1970.
The concept behind Historic Modsports and Saloons is to re-create a period of national racing history from the late 1960s and 1970s. Eligible cars are those that comply with period MSA ‘Blue Book’ regulations and the series will be for cars as raced in period.
For production sports and GT cars built and registered between 1947 and 1969.
All public parking at this event is free of charge, and will be located inside the venue, via the main entrance. Blue Badge holders should see a member of staff on arrival to be directed to the dedicated disabled parking area.
Check out the Brands Hatch adventure playground near the Kentagon restaurant, which features a motorsport theme and has equipment for children of all ages from toddler to 14.There are climbing frames, swings and much more!
Brands Hatch will be filled with hundreds of vintage & classic car displays for the Masters Historic Festival. Expect to see plenty of Jaguars, Triumphs, Porsches and TVRs located throughout the venue.
